Luke Hanley has been named a Fellow of the American Vacuum Society "For the development of a laser desorption post ionization mass spectrometer for surface analysis of biological materials."  Formal presentation will occur at  the AVS Awards Assembly in San Jose on 11/11/09 (see avs.org).
