Lecture Notes

The following entries are lecture notes for Biochemistry I delivered during the Spring, 2010 semester by Professor L. Miller. The lectures for Fall, 2010 will differ in only a minimal way. Each lecture may begin (and/or end) at a different place, but will be a continuation of the previous lecture. The lecture notes are not intended to be a substitute for attending class. The lecture notes that follow are text only and do not contain structures, tables and figures. Spaces (more than double) between text sentences are typically used to draw the structure of a biomolecule. Figures and tables cited in the notes will be distributed in class. The notes are intended to be an aid to learning. You may for example read the notes before each lecture and the corresponding subject material in the text in preparation for the lecture. You may also wish to print the notes prior to class so that it is not necessary for you to copy all of the text notes in class. Note again however that the lectures for Fall, 2010 may differ from those of the Spring, 2010.
